At IME, our mission is to “promote the social, economic and political incorporation of disadvantaged Spanish and English speaking communities through technology and multimedia programming.”
The vision of IME is “a nationally networked organization providing sustainable educational programming to lose service delivery gaps between institutions and targeted communities.”
Through rich media such as video, CD’s, DVD’s and emerging technologies like podcasting, International Media Exchange provides an important service to the cities it serves.
Current projects include partnering with local school districts, bringing Birth to Work initiatives to cities, and mentoring youth through local programming.
